Costanza has an MScR in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Edinburgh, where she focused on genetic research of the melanocortin system using CRISPR-mutated zebrafish and computer models. She has curated numerous pieces of work as part of her role, for Gene Therapy and other Beacon databases, as well as presented at conferences pertaining to the drug development space. She strives to maintain a high-quality module by keeping an eye on the newest platform technologies, delivery systems, disease indications, and editing technologies, as well as financial news within the space.
